Lots of people that never showed up to the original event still got one.

Now where is the problem with bringing some back for people that missed out on events they could have participated in, for various reasons?

I have a wicked hat, its very smexy on my necro.

Ive been wearing it since 2006 Halloween in combo with black obby, the original hat though not a new re-crafted one to go in the costume slots.

As well as its appearance what I like most about it it.... You don't have one!

Sure you can craft as many obby sets as you want, you can have X amount of chaos gloves but unless you were there in 2006 you ain't gonna get the same hat as me.

A-net isn't going to change it this late in the day and gift you a Tengu mask/wicked hat/grenth horns or anything, keep hoping it'll be this years hat though.

Wicked hat only looks good on female characters in my opinion

I'd love to see the old hats repeat. I was sort of hoping that they'd do that after GW2 was released, since they still want to have festivals with hats. Like many, I didn't start playing until after GW's first year. And sure, that would tick a lot of oldies off because their exclusive items aren't so exclusive anymore, but come on guys...This is a game. I didn't not play Guild Wars when it first came out because I didn't want to, I had no idea it even existed.

But if they're set on making new hats, I'd like to see a Wicked hat that we can dye!

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for a hockey mask, the Shatner mask from Halloween is doubtful, so next best thing is Jason's headgear (which is just a hockey mask so shouldn't have any legal problems, unless they put the cut at the top part that makes it Jason's) :P

2 masks so.....how about something glowy for a change, like little red glowing devil horns similar to chaos gloves, they should have a little red glowy nose at Wintersday at least, well I would if it was up to me. Just my personal opinion but glowy devil horns or something along those lines I would wear for more than just a day and I'm sure others would too

I missed the '05 - '07 halloween hats too, but i'm against A-net adding them now for those that missed out first time.

I'd love to see devil horns, maybe with a tail and bat wings too, that would look hawt on female chars. Or maybe a Freddy Krueger mask would be cool, especially if we get his glove too.

Personally, I don't care if they re-release the masks/hats or not.

I would lean slightly towards them NOT doing them (Since they're a "you had to be there" kind of thing). But, I wouldn't go all nerdrage if they did.

Personally, I want black kitty ears for Halloween. They'd look fabulous on a male warrior.

How many of you would love to see another Wicked Hat?

Or maybe you have ideas for another hat?

id like a devil looking female ele.. how smexy would that be? .also yes to wiked hat i really like these. and short of the wikied hat id want the pumpkin hat.. just b/c i missed that festival shouldnt mean i dont get the hat D:. so depressing that i missed that.. since then the hats have suscked imo(i mean really zombie face-paint?) so yes devil horns are /signed
and i agree on having to pay like 150k for all past hats. I mean its nostalgia.. it should come at a price.(and it will weed out the people that use it to try and get into the ugly armor thread haha).

Devil Horns + Angels Halo

Jack the Pumpkin King Mask + Chuckie Doll Face Paint

Obama mask + Hilary clinton mask (these might be too scary)

I can already tell you that Devil Horns and Angel Halos are out. Those two represent a religious system for real life, which is not represented in GW (thank goodness for us atheists). But GW does have it's version of that representation I.E> Grenth and Dwayna.

I doubt we'll ever see any movie related versions either. When games tend to take from other stories, it does suggest that their own story is somehow leeching when it shouldn't. The GW story needs to remain original, and one of the best ways to do this is by never merging with other stories.

Seeing a new witch hat would be perfect, maybe design one where it leaves remaining hair to be seen; instead of cutting it all off like your character went bald.

Other great ideas can come from the many different enemies in GW.

Maybe have some costumes of actual enemies in the game.

Sure, we have tonics, but those are tonics and not the same.

Maybe a costume of those obnoxious mesmer weeds right outside of ToA (Stalkers?), Warthog costume, something like that.

Just for the Halloween spirit. :3

I agree that Grenth and Dwayna fill this role of "good vs. evil", but would devil horns and a halo really offend anyone? They're incredibly common Halloween costumes.

I personally would like to see an eye patch (think pirate), though it would be too late for Int. Talk Like a Pirate Day...

It's not about offending anyone. It's more about taking from something that would only be repeating itself. It's the same concept as taking from movies or other videos games. You're stealing from another story so to speak. GW has it's story and it has it's good/evil idols for the story. Why would you add a copy of that exact idea, but one that doesn't come from the GW story? It's just diminishing GW's title in the story realm.

I understand the redundancy that could be interpreted through the depiction, I may have just assumed your noted reluctance toward any religious "system" as the main reason for concern. I have read of others who do not even like the humans as being devout and want to opt out, so my apologies; we can agree on your point.
